[Review by Unlock] This was the very first issue of the PAiN, the one and only Swiss diskmag at that time. The mag only amins to reach Swiss people - the Swiss related releases chart, the Swiss modem charts (which are not included in this first issue) and the Swiss BBS list (which is a part of PAiN since the very first issue up to now, as you might have noticed). This issue also features a big Swiss news corner and several interviews (like, two of them). The interviews are written in German. Uli interviewed Bitmaster/T.B.C., who was a trader back then, and Sinclair, another trader. PAiN directly shows of as being a kind of 'mixed' magazine for the Swiss demo- aswell as for the trading-/warez-scene, which made it very interesting back then. Following this idea, the editors were able to reach as many people as possible - but never forget, back in 1994, the scene was not that seperated as it is today. The engine back then was of course for DOS and was able to display the ANSI screens, a nice clock on the down right corner and a small menu in the downer middle. Do you think this seems known to you? This engine was used for many issues, and the overall concepts of the engine is still in use today. This first PAiN issue was the start of one of the most successfull PC related diskmags ever (it even fit on a disk back then), but nobody expected this.
