PAiN Issue 02/94

[Review by Unlock] Not more than one month later, the next issue of PAiN appeared. This is not surprising, PAiN was intented to do so, because the slogan was da Swiss Lamer Intrigues Monthly back then. In the editorial the PAiN staff celebrated themselves: What a brialliant success, what a great influence on the swiss scene, what a genius design, what hardworking editors, standing ovations everywhere we showed up. The Swiss news corner provided a heavy load of important and less important news again, supported by the jokes - reactions corner which featured captures from various boards. This corner contained a lot of reactions on the first issue like Das Mag voller rumours und scheisse, aber sehr lustig and ehrm.. well, nothing more. PAiN always had to fight for feedback, that's not a new fact. There were even more jokes chapters featuring The whole truth about a motherfucker called Mr. Keydisk and Private Wars, and what it's all about - a voice chat with Skunk. I assume that such things have been quite world moving back then. And what about charts? Yes, this issue now has them, a Top 20 List of board uploaders and rankings. Beside the Swiss BBS List and the PAiN board (some kind of Black Board with messages of every kind) there were again two interviews: The first one was done on IRC (remember, it's issue 0294) by Uli with Not/Alliance, an ANSI painter and supporter. The second interview featured, and now listen, Numerus/Imphobia - a quite interesting interview! The engine was the same, maybe a bit improven? Who knows. The music was quite pushing, but a little short in my opinion.
less..
